App crashes on launch malformed disk image?

hi, up unitl yesterday everthing was hunky dory but now…nada. have run command line for a better understanding…system.data.sqlite Exception 0x80004005 database disk image is malformed…it goes on to mention a fluent migrator…im way outta my depth please help!

i tied an alternate installation on a different drive but same result so its something windows related i think.

One of two things (possible others, but two that I’m aware of) has happened.

  1. Drone’s DB is locked by another process, try restarting to see if the issue exists
  2. DB is corrupted, if this is the case you will need to either attempt to recover it, or delete it and re-add your shows/configure your settings. If its corrupted, I’d like to try and help with the recovery, zip it up and PM me a link and I’ll take a look.

EDIT: Forgot to add, the DB is in C:\ProgramData\zbDrone named nzbdrone.db

hurm…well i navigated to programdata folder and deleted everything 'cept the config and .db file…then launched the console app from the install/extracted folder for nzbdrone…and it worked…im surprised and relieved that it did and that i dont have to re-add things to the library but also none the wiser as to why it worked/.
