Description of issue: I am downloading Dragon Ball Super. In this case, a lot of the episodes are showing as S01E17. In reality this is S02E3 but with both cases, i am getting “Failed to parse episodes from release name.” I don’t have the option to manually download it (which i am ok to do if need be) because of the failure.
Sonarr can’t map the release to a series and episode because there isn’t a matching episode. This might be something that thexem.de can help with (not sure what they do in this case), it’d be best to reach out to them on IRC to inquire.
Numbering issues such as these are dealt with using thexem.de (as mentioned in the ((FAQ))).
From everything i have found, thexem.de service appears to be no more. I can’t create an account on their site and i dont use IRC so thats just another thing i would have to do and learn. Would it be possible to enable the force download button on anything that Sonarr deems “failed to parse episodes from release name?” I feel that would relieve a bunch of issues. Not sure what that looks like from a Dev standpoint, but at least me being able to force the download manually because it is finding it would be a huge help. Maybe an enhancement request?
Adding a download button is something we plan to do, but it’s not as simple as adding the button and being done with it, since that’d leave a download in limbo somewhere.
