Fansub group names are causing drone to detect results as “Unknown series”. For example, I’m currently trying to get “Valkyria Chronicles” but every result looks like this: Coalgirls Valkyria Chronicles 01 1920x1080 Blu-Ray FLAC A617F896
I cant even manually start the download because the “add to download queue” doesn’t appear for unknown series. Is there anyway we could force drone to ignore fansub names? or allow user to manually start the download?
Also, is there anyway for this forum to email me when someone posts a reply?
Fansubs should be in square brackets, there is no way for drone to separate the title from the fanzub group if they’re in one long string.
Should be an option when someone relies to a thread your started or @ mentions you.
Weren’t you working on whitelisting and blacklisting groups? Once you have that, the problem could solve itself for any series that has a whitelist since you actually know what group you’re looking for.
Yea, I think we need the whitelist/blacklist feature, or a feature to tell drone to ignore certain words that the user can define. While I agree that fansubs should be marked in brackets, thats just not the way it is sometimes, and the user will miss out on some releases, or not get any results.
What would be great would be an area to enter a list of ignored words. So i could tell drone to ignore the word “Coalgirls” and drone will read the result as Valkyria Chronicles 01 1920x1080 Blu-Ray FLAC A617F896
Interestingly enough, after I downloaded the file and unrar’ed it. The mkv actually had the fansub name in brackets. I don’t know why they didn’t enter it that way on the indexer though…
whitelist/blacklist isn’t going to change anything, its still going to fail to parse correctly, whitelist/blacklist handling is well after the series is properly detected, since the series would be required to apply the correctly whitelist/blacklist options.
Interesting idea to clear information out, before parsing, I’ll give it some thought, but my initial impression is it will be rarely used and confusing to most users.
Looks like your indexer is stripping out the square brackets (I see dognzb doing it), but fanzub has the proper title intact.
Yup you are 100% correct. I’m guessing fanzub wasn’t working for me yesterday, but now that its working for me everything is working. Sorry for the confusion!
