Anime episode not catch when fansub is present in title

Hello,

I have a problem when I try to download episodes from Dragon Ball Super serie. All episodes are with fansub and Sonarr seems to not be able to parse the number

I have no problem with another anime, I just tried and successfully download ChaoS.Child.E01.VOSTFR.720p.WEBRiP.X264-FUJiSAN

When I check the logs I notice than ChaoS Child has language parse in french and Dragon Ball Super has language parse in English so I tried a profile with english like this :

but it still doesn’t work

Gets parsed as Dragon Ball Super - S01E79 WEBDL-720p v1 which will only work if it’s in season 1 as episode 79, it’s a poorly named anime release to Sonarr, as it’s released in a non-standard way.

It’s english because nothing in the title indicates it’s another language (VOSTFR indicates that in the ChaoS Child release).

Is there any chance that this kind of release will be manage by Sonarr in the future? All my anime shows are named like this on the trackers I used.

Another question, will it be better if the release was named with EP79 instead of E79? Like this Dragon.Ball.Super.EP79.FANSUB.720p.WEBRip.x264-Mystic.Z-Team ?

Yeah, but it involves a pretty significant rewrite to how things are parsed and isn’t something we’re immediately tackling.

I don’t think so, though that may cause it to be picked up by the anime parsing instead of the standard parsing.
