[Anime] Absolute numbering off for series with alternate titles for later seasons

I noticed something with the new hover info box when you hover over an episode number. It goes fine for all normal series that I’ve seen, and it’s equally correct for anime series that only get one season with one title. However, Freezing for example shows this for the twelfth episode of the second season:

Scene Information
Season: 2
Episode: 12
Absolute: 12
Title: Freezing Vibration

The absolute number is off. It is the twelfth episode of the second season, but the absolute number should still be 24 because the first season also has 12 episodes. Strangely enough, the renamer does this correctly, so Drone does seem to have the right information:

2x12 - 024 - Shaft of Light.mkv

The same thing happens for anime like Fairy Tail and every other anime I’ve seen with alternate titles for seasons, so it doesn’t look like an isolated incident. Is it possible to make the “real” absolute number show up here?

Thats showing the scene information, the information used when posted, if the alternate name applies to a single season it typically means the season starts its absolute numbers from 1 again because it is considered a new series in the scene/anidb world.

That field is not intended to show the absolute episode number in the tvdb world. I realize thats probably information thats wanted, but its not expected there, it will have to go elsewhere.

Fair enough.

Maybe you could make it a preference for anime only to show absolute episode numbers instead of the current episode numbers in the episode table? That way people can turn it on or off as they please. A second column is an option too but I think that’s probably pointless as most (all) people will only be interested in one type of number, not both.
