Animated Series Profile/Quality

I would like some recommendations on how to setup a profile with appropriate qualities for animated series? I have an animated series where I would like to prefer a smaller file size than normal for a given quality. For me the series is being identified as SDTV, but the file size I am trying to target is between 50Mb and 90Mb for 30 mins. However, this doesn’t work for a normal, non-animated TV show that is also identified as SDTV that have file sizes ranging from 150Mb to 250Mb for 30 mins. How would I configure Sonarr to pick up the smaller file sizes for the animated series while still picking up the same quality for the non-animated series?

Any suggestions?

Size doesn’t change how Sonarr detects the quality, the size limits only affect what Sonarr will allow to be grabbed based on that size, to get both smaller and larger files you need to make sure your size limits allow for both.

Is there any way to accomplish what I am trying to do? I understand what you are saying that size doesn’t affect how it detects the quality, but I know that the episodes are being detected as SDTV, but for animated episodes I want it to only pick up files that are SDTV and between 50MB and 90MB for 30 min episodes and ignore files that are SDTV but under 50MB or over 90MB. If it is not an animated TV show, then it should pick up SDTV that are between 150MB and 250MB for 30 min episodes. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks for your help.

No, there is not a way to do that.
