All ND settings getting wiped when auto update occurs

Hey friends,

I’ve had a issue that I haven’t been able to figure out over the past two auto updates. Whenever the update occurs, all of the settings, shows, indexers etc disappear and no longer get carried over. I backed up my appdata folder the first time this occurred, but it is something I would like to resolve.

I am running Windows 8.1 x64

Whats your Startup Directory path?

Drone deletes the entire contents of the install folder when it updates (clears oput old files), sounds like you have you drone AppData folder and Startup folder as the same thing (drone is running from: C:\\ProgramData\zbDrone).

Move all the files for drone into a sub folder or another location entirely, the installer will install to C:\\ProgramData\zbDrone\\bin

Ah thanks for your insight. I’ve sorted it out as instructed and now have appdata and startup separated.
