I have noticed over the last few updates that when I check my sever the NzbDrone.Console.exe is using 100% of one of the cores in my server, DzbDrone is still working and I can not see anything in the logs that indicates it is doing anything, if I kill the process and restart it it runs fine then.
Out of curiosity, why are you using NzbDrone.Console? It is really only there for testing as it output the logs to console and the console window is always open.
When NzbDrone.Console.exe is taking over a whole core, is the console window still visible? or has it been hidden after the update?
I have the same problem, I have not pin-pointed when it start but at some point nzbdrone start using 100% of a core and the windows task-bar notifications icons disappear. No trace in log and weirdly the UI does not seem to be affected, restarting nzbdrone solve the issue for a while.
The console is not visible after the update.
I use the console because that is just the way I run it, I run sb in the same way, it gives me some visual indication as to what it is doing.
Gotcha. Added to Trello: https://trello.com/c/Uee7y4aR/320-nzbdrone-console-exe-uses-entire-core-after-an-update
should be fixed.
just confirming, this looks to be fixed in the latest dev build, it updated overnight and the console is showing and there is no 100% usage occurring.
