Advice on Completed Download Handling

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5163
OS: Windows 7N
Debug logs:
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here. Post in .txt not .doc, .rtf or some other formatted document)

Description of issue:
I have just setup Sonarr - and everything is working (at the moment) as well as it can.
Sonarr runs locally, with SAB (the downloader running remotely)
Sonarr tells SAB what to download
SAB does the download (most of the time)
What is missing is the bit that copies the downloaded file back to somewhere that Sonarr can then deal with it and hopefully put it in the correct place.
SAB is on Linux (over which I have some control - but not root access)
Sonarr is on Windows
I have a VPN connection to the remote server

Under connections I have theoretically setup a connection to the SAB Server where SAB downloads files to and a local path. But this clearly doesn’t work - I am obviously missing something. From reading the wiki I THINK i need to set something up to map the local drive so that the remote download folder appears as a local folder - am I correct?

If so - any advice on how?

I think WebDrive may be the best option to have the Windows computer connect to the Linux box, though I’m not entirely sure how it operates, since you have have a VPN you could also do a SMB/CIFS share to the linux box.

Once you have your file system access set up you’ll need a Remote Path Mapping in Sonarr to translate the paths that SAB reports to a path that Sonarr can access.
