Adding Show Via TVDB ID?

Been trying to add new upcoming shows via the TVDB ID as a general search isn’t coming up and getting an issue i have been putting it in like

tvdb:281589

(For the new show called Marry Me)

and i get

I tried searching on trakt for the show but the site is running really slow at the moment so taking forever just to access

Am i putting the input correctly or is it simple not finding the show

Update: I am thinking it might be just that particular show as i tried it with another show called “State Of Affairs” and entering

tvdb:281519 worked just fine

The series still needs to be on trakt, if its not add it there first, then add it to drone via tvdb id.

yeah i figured it might be something like that just trakt was running real slow when i tried earlier so could not confirm it

Yeah, I brought it up to the admins at trakt a couple of months ago, but they still haven’t fixed the issue. There is already a japanese show with a similar name called Marry Me! If you use the correct tvid on trakt, it brings up the japanese one, so until they fixed this issue we can’t add the show to trakt. Is there any other way to add a show?

No, it must exist on trakt to add it. Where did you bring it up? They have always been extremely responsive on their support site.

I emailed support, there repsonse back was that it was a bigger issuse with how the way the site handles tv show names and that the fix would be released sometime in the fall.

thanks for the update mate nothing we can do for now just gotta wait

to be honest i wouldn’t be surprised if the show has already been cancelled by the time it is added the way TV shows get cut lately :frowning:
