Added metadata on TVDB, not showing. How often do Sonarr cache new data?

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.4.1042-1 by [sonarr-phantom] binhex-sonarr docker container
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 6.10.0
OS: unRAID 6.8.3

Description of issue:

Sometimes I come upon a series that doesn’t have a entry in English on theTVDB, or doesn’t exist at all. I then log into TVDB and add whatever is missing and then “Refresh & Scan” the series in Sonarr. Sometimes it shows up directly and sometimes it shows up when refreshing again after some hours or days. But quite often it doesn’t collect any new artwork despite this. Series info and episode naming works better. How often do Sonarr cache data from theTVDB?

Ok, thank you for your answer. Perhaps a bit vague in my question though.
Problem is it really doesn’t answer why these series doesn’t show up now, it’s been many days since changes was made… I’ve tried updating but nothing happens.

I’m getting a poster for the first one, I’m not getting one for the other two series, TVDB’s API isn’t returning a poster for them, not sure if they have different caching when only images change, but I’d expect after a couple days it’d be updated.
