A Way to Interrupt Update Library?

Is there a way to interrupt NZBDrone after you’ve clicked the “Update Library” button? While NZBDrone finds and queues for download new episodes while simultaneously updating the library, it doesn’t seem to rename and move downloaded files. Having a large library, and having accidentally clicked that button yesterday, it seems to be taking days to complete, leaving me waiting to watch things downloaded yesterday because they’ve not been added to Plex yet. (Yes, I know I can move them manually.- I guess my question is, can I interrupt a library update scan?)

The only option would be to restart drone. Drone automatically rescans the library every 12 hours as well, for the reasons listed here: http://forums.nzbdrone.com/discussion/comment/3068#Comment_3068

How many shows do you have in your library? In my experience it takes about 10 seconds a show (mostly getting the data from trakt and then processing it).

I know mine takes much, much longer. I have over 330 series and sometimes I wish I could interrupt it as well.

It would be awesome to have an option to at least pause the update, if not kill it all together. Actually, would it be possible to have a setting like the rss updates where we can set a time interval for a complete update?

Thanks

Likely going to look at make it a lower priority process, so other processes aren’t blocked by it.

We’re not going to make it configurable as it would have adverse effects if set too long.

In my particular case above, it was stuck on a series - some glitch or other that was fixed by restarting the server.

But in general I agree that making the scan process non-modal so it doesn’t block other processes while it runs would be great…
