I think this would be an amazing feature to have, if the community could contribute and make plugins and help extend as well.
And maybe some big features could be introduced through plugins (if they perhaps take alot of resources etc?)
to be honest I don’t think it will happen (community creating plugins). we have been opensource for the past 3 years and have had total of maybe 2 small code contributions.
I think the effort would be best spent somewhere else.
also, adding plugin support is making a promise to the dev that we won’t break our internal APIs. which makes maintaining the code much harder.
I agree with kayone plugins may be good depending on what they are but could cause issues i think it is best to focus on getting nzbdrone near bulletproof whilst also implementing as many features requested as possible
