I’ve been up and running for quite a while without any problems. In the last couple of weeks, here’s what’s happening:
Episodes are properly downloaded and processed, and appear green on the calendar view.
The next day, all previous days episodes are red in the calendar view, and will re-download quite often. This didn’t used to happen. It used to be that all previous days episodes would stay green and not re download until the DVD/BDrip version was released.
This may be a factor: After they are downloaded and processed, I move the processed files into my own folder system. This didn’t used to matter. Does it matter now?
Depends how you move them, previously if the series folder was deleted Sonarr wouldn’t rescan it and treat the files as still being there. this caused issues when the folder was deleted after watching and Sonarr never saw it as missing so now as long as the root folder exists and has folders in it, Sonarr will treat the series folder as missing and mark the episodes as deleted.
You can have Sonarr automatically ignore deleted files, which means they won’t appear in the calendar (unless unmonitored episodes are shown) or you can replace the episode with a placeholder file so Sonarr sees the file as existing.
