With the most recent update today, Sonarr won’t start. Based on the message here: http://hastebin.com/muyukebafo.lua I went and checked the NZBDrone service. It was stopped and refuses to start.
From C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone\logs\sonarr.debug.txt:
I have no running Antivirus. I’ve attempted to reinstall the .net framework. I’ve removed and reinstalled Sonarr. None of these changes have made a difference.
I would suggest a search of your download directory’s to see if you have a manualy downloaded version newer than the latest Mar 2016 update. Something after January 1 2016. I found that I can get NZBDrone service started with a ver .3357 and most of the GUI is responsive. But it’s missing some data, and I think the database/config has been changed greatly since version .3357 till now. Let me know if you do run across something in the Feb 2016 time frame.
Fully uninstalling and reinstalling the version I downloaded on 2/16 makes it work again. Installing the update from System > Updates > 2.0.0.3953 Install Latest immediately breaks it again. Unfortunately I don’t see a way to turn off auto updates - the System > Tasks tab tells me it’s going to auto-update again in 6 hours.
Old version does work, though - up until it auto-updates.
Yes, that’s good. But the Auto update is going to be a bit of a challenge. So re-installing the previous version from Feb is the only way to keep it running, until they can come up with a proper update to fix whatever is broke. I looked in the config settings, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off auto update.
Version: 2.0.0.3953
Mono Version: 4.3.0 (master/1c90513 Sun 29 Nov 18:23:22 GMT 2015)
AppData directory: /home/pi/.config/NzbDrone
Startup directory: /opt/NzbDrone
After I installed 2.0.0.3953 I have had two incidents that I cant access the sonarr web interface. When I check the status of nzbdrone on my raspberry it says that it’s running. Tried to restart the service but no go. I had to restart the Raspberry to get access to sonarr.
I will monitor the problem
The logs doesn’t say so much only:
SceneMappingServiceFailed to Update Scene Mappings:: Error: NameResolutionFailureYesterdayTaskExtensionsTask Error: Error: NameResolutionFailureYesterdaySceneMappingServiceFailed to Update Scene Mappings:: Error: NameResolutionFailureYesterday
Interestingly, I somehow only had .net 4.0 installed, despite setting this up all fresh last month. I should have had 4.5 but grabbed the wrong download. That did it, nzbDrone service loads and Sonarr fires up again. Thanks for the help and sorry for wasting time on an easy solution.
